Calculating duration of summons

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:47 pm

Hey, was wondering if anyone knows what the formula is to calculate the duration of summoning/reanimation spells. I know there are various perks that increase the duration. Also dual casting (I believe) increases it, and potions and various items with bonus to conjuration. But no where did I find a formula that I can plug in all these variables and get an idea of how long my summons will last.

I wouldn't care too much if I was a summoner, but I'm trying to play a necromancer and only stick to reanimating dead things, so it would be helpful if I had an idea before going into a fight whether that saber tooth tiger I reanimated 3 minutes ago will last through the fight or turn into dust half way through and leave me fighting whoever, one on one.

In the case of my Dremora Lords, they show up in the Active Effects screen with a countdown of how long they have left before going *bamf*. I assume it's the same for your zombies.

Well, you learn something new every day. Yes, indeed reanimated creatures timer also shows up on the Active Effects screen.

Thank you, that'll help a lot.
