SKYRIM Main DLC will be FREE or Paid

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:15 pm

Hi Friends

Around 1 Month back, I bought Skyrim for PC and I am in love with this game

Before Skyrim, I never played any of The Elder Scrolls Series Games like Oblivion etc.

Just wanted to know following things:

1. The upcoming SKYRIM Major DLC (as many gaming site says), which will/may EXPAND the map, will be FREE or PAID for SKYRIM Buyers? I am from India and I bought this game for around 2250 bucks! :ermm:
2. How many MAJOR DLC, Bethesda releases for a single game? Just curious to know :bunny:

Regards

The main DLC packs you have to pay for them and I would say the price range for the DLC will be between twenty to forty US dollars. That is a rough estimate based off if what I expect they will charge.

As for how many DLC pretty sure Todd Howard said there would be two to three big expansion for this game and they would release smaller bits sized content in between to hold us over for free.

Main dlc will be paid. Updates, like the killcams for archery and magic and balance changes will be free. A big dlc from Bethesda usually costs around 15-40$

Which may appear to him to be quite a bit more than most here. Even though the game might be a bit cheaper, the average income in india may not be the same as say in Germany. Hence he has to pay a larger percentage of the money he has, which in essence makes it appear more expensive.

A buck isnt a rupee.

A Rupee is the currency of Hyrule and a Buck is a Deer.

Not really. If the average salary in India is lower than in the US (calculated in USD) then he actually paid more.
I calculated it once for my country and it turned out games here are twice as expensive as in the US. I expect the same to be true for India.
