Getting trespassing dialogue everywhere in Solitude

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 4:24 am

I started playing Skyrim again and I've been doing pretty well to avoid the masses of bugs that can occur. I've come across something now that I didn't get once in my other four characters.

Every time I enter a building in Solitude I get trespassing dialogue like "You lost?", "I hope you're not planning any trouble", etc. The worst part is I get this from my housecarl every time I go into my player housing.

I've searched google and Skyrim UESP and found nothing on this. Is there any way to fix it?

That is not trespassing dialogue. That is generic dialogue shopkeepers and such give you to tell them that if you mess their store up, they'll not be happy.
Why Huscarls give those is beyond me.

If you were trespassing they would say stuff like "You're not supposed to be here!", "Can't a man get a bit of privacy?" and "Get out, or I'll call the guards!"

So everybody gets this dialogue from their Housecarl in Solitude? Odd I've never noticed it before if that is the case.
