I play on PS3 so I can't help you, unfortunately. I just have one question: How did you accidentally kill Belethor and quicksave?

Use a different merchant. I don't see anything special about selling to Belethor.

Do you use saves at all? If you're dependant on autosaves, things like this and bugs in the game are going to ruin it for you. Belethor isn't special, he has no quests and is just a general goods trader. You don't really need him.

You might not need him, but his voice and lines are classics!

You "accidentally" killed him?

Anyway this is what (real) saves are for.

Well let's say i might of killed him on purpose and later-on regretted the decision... and there's no way going back with autosaves/quicksaves since none of them have Belethor alive.

To do that requires doing the TG which is not always possible depending on a person's role playing choices. Only one of my 3 characters did the TG quest line. Too bad they don't give good characters an alternative but equal way to vendor items. The TG is certainly the best place in the game to dump stuff off unless you happen to fill in the speech tree.

Yes, you used the wrong command and created a doppelganger of Belethor. Disable it. There is a chance, a slim one, that you can resurrect him and all will be well.
Spoiler
Try the following:

prid 13BA1
enable
moveto player
resurrect

and see if it works. Hopefully this will retrieve his corpse from the recycling bin with all his faculties restored. If not... well, that's the way the cookie crumbles. I've read that allegedly Ysolda takes over the store after some extended period of time, but apparently she never goes inside. You'd conduct business with her outside in the market.

Belethor isn't all that important, you get better items from the Khajiit caravans and merchants in other major cities. Even if you can't bring him back to normal its not a big deal, in fact I would suggest to leave the dead bastard where he lay, he offered to sell his own sister, scumbag deserves to be dead.

This is why generic necromancy never got anybody anywhere. Always go back to the source, or base. And add a pinch of salt. And wear fur.

Why not just leave him dead? There are plenty of other traders :) Belethor always sounds like he's hitting on you or something, he's really creeping me out xD

Lol. There's plenty other vendors out there with 750 gold. Every city basically.

Cheers
