Wards: a question

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:51 pm

I noticed, when I dualcasted a ward, it didn't have any more effect in my "active effects" than a single cast. It gives no difference with or without use of the perk. There are a few possibilities as far as I can see:

- It's just double layered, two spells are blocked before stagger
- It does stack, it just doesn't show

OR

- it does nothing

If anyone could clarify this for me, I'd be grateful

On a sidenote, wouldn't it have been cool if dualcasting wards (with the perk) would create a omnidirectional shield instead of just at your front?

EDIT: spelling

I don't think anyone has an answer to this. The UESP doesn't say anything about this. I don't know if the HP of the ward are increased so you can absorb more before it shatters and you get staggered.

I would assume that dual casting a ward is useless.

I'm not sure if anyone will have the answer to this. I'm guessing most players use a ward in one hand and a weapon or offensive spell in the other.

Pretty sure the armor bonus is doubled with a dual cast ward.
