When I first saw the official wallpapers (and some unofficial too), I wasn't too keen on them. Although I love the game, like the graphics, it just lacked a kind of 'hell yeah' for me. But then I found the Hold symbols, which are on a black background, so simple yet so nice

I got these from the UESP (obviously), and they are surprisingly good desktop fillers right now Solitudes wolf is on, but I think I'll be moving to Whiteruns horse. The Winterhold symbol was absent.

Does anyone agree this is a rather cool form of artwork in Skyrim? Credits to the UESP btw for such a site that I have been using for ages.

I love the Dawnstar one. I always thought it was rather pretty, some kind of spark it had even on a kind of old cloth.

I've alway' liked the shield's and try to collect each hold shield with most of my character's and display them one way or the other.

But I don't use a Skyrim Wallpaper for my computer, I tend to use picture's I've taken from other interest's. Not that I don't love some of the wallpaper's Skyrim has. My screenshot's aren't as good because it's a camera shot of the tv.

I really like the Falkreath shield, it's a good rep. of http://www.heritagegoods.com/csshirt.html I'm very proud of my Celtic heritage though( 5th generation) just wish the language was pass down through the family.

Was looking for the Winterhold one, that's gotta be my favourite. These are all very well made.

The best walpaper i've ever seen was the Bad Company 2 style, but with dragons in the air instead of helicopters and the dragonborn instead of the soldier, it was epic but i can't find it any more
