Lose something?

um...this isnt so much about losing a horse in combat as it runs a short ways off and having to circle round to find it again. it isnt even about all the forsworn in stealth mode that stealth snipe my horse to death in one hit as i ride by every day. its not about the mages that slow my horse with frost then kill it instead oif attacking me.

its about me buying a first horse, riding it around and deciding to try buying a second horse for a bit of change. i get off the first horse where i buy the second horse cuz even if i fast traveled while not riding it the horse will show up with me anyways. so i buy the second horse. i get on the second horse. the first horse begins walkin away, presumably to go home. i have always then been able to find the first horse at its home if i wanted it.

but lets say i keep switchin between horses. then lets say eventually i go to do that again. this time the horse is not home. the stable master wont sell me a new horse either saying he sold me the last one a bit ago so i know it isnt dead. where is it?? how do i find it?? is it stuck in a rock along the way home? i havnt seen it anywhere...

well actually this has happened to me more than once...this would now make twice actually. the first time i did actually eventually find the first horse, a black one, standing still in the middle of the road right outside thieves gorge or whats it called. just standing there. solved that issue by riding it again while the other one walked away...striaght towards theives gorge where it was promptly mowed down with arrows in front of me.

but this time it has happened to the black and white horse and i still havnt found it. not even at theives gorge....

The lesson here is, don't buy a horse. Don't steal one and don't commit a crime near one, either. If you are a stealthy type, definitely avoid the hay-burners! Those things broadcast your presence to every enemy within 13 cells of your location.

well aside from liking the roleplaying involved with riding the horse from point a to point b on occassion and aside from the fact i like the horses, there are some places one cannot get to easily without one. they are4 so much better at mountain climbing than my character is, and with the lack of any indication of where roads are in the game map, i have resorted to goin mountain climbing with my horse many many times to find a place i otherwise wouldnt have found...and even then with the horse still spent hours lookin for a way to get to it safely.

but anyways...i found the most recent lost horse...its was just standing around chillin in rorikstead...
