Factors that affect enchantment strength question.

Things I know:

Power of soul gem
Enchant skill level and perks
Enchant potions

Things I don't know:

Quality of items. Better armor (including player smithed improvements). Cost of clothing, cost of jewelry.

In other words, do more expensive things get higher enchantment numbers based on item value, with all other things being equal?

Also does anyone know of a good place to buy improved enchantment potions, I know generally potion shops, but I mean specific shops that have quality enchant boost potions. One more, do enchant boost potions stack? (I kinda doubt it)

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, quality of item has no bearing (I think it did in Morrowind), so you get the same enchant on a Gold Sapphire Ring as you do on a Silver Ring.
Other than alchemy shops, the only consistent way to get enchanting potions is to make them yourself, but you have to have a decent level and some fortified gear to get close to even the 10 - 15% boosts that early philters provide.

This is an easily exploitable system and a quick search of the forums will yield plenty of results of people's ridiculously overpowered gear.
