Does my charater have asthma?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:27 am

Whenever I run or attack so I completely deplete my stamina pool, my character starts puffing and huffing non stop untill I sleep in a bed. This made me start thinking, does she have asthma or something? Cause my other character doesn't do this.

I've seen this too; it also occasionally fixes it's self when you leave the cell.

A "cell" is a game instance like the interior of a house or a cave.

Sounds like a bug, but I am unsure how to fix it.

Sounds like your character needs to lay of the booze, cigarettes and high salt diet and hit the gym.

I have never touched any alcohol or cigarettes in the game :< and I think fighting dragons would suffice as gymming.

You would think that, but have ever considered how much toxic gas fire produces? Constant battling with dragons might very well be the cause of your untimely asthma :P

Now that I think about it, is it possible that running around shouting stuff at people might cause asthma? I'm not doctor but that seems legit.

Is a bug, I also have it in my game, happens sometimes after I spend all my stamina and continue to fight. Eventually the bug disappearing after I move to a new cell, like others said.

I don't have this problem but I do find it weird that my character if I sprint for a second or three he starts puffing like he's already tired but he still has a tonne of stamina left. I guess your problem is a bug, or maybe you've had too much second hand dragon smoke.

So if inhaling smoke from a Dragon's Breath can cause asthma, and shouting your lungs out can cause asthma, what do you think BREATHING FIRE (Fire Breath - Yol Toor Shul) would do to you?

Put you in a hospital where you will be constantly asked how you managed to get smoke-poisoned and third degree burns on the inside of your throath :P

What mods are you running, if any? I have a clash with a one of mine, and I have no idea which one, that causes Lydia to start heavy breathing in the Bannered Mare. Sounds, ummm, like she's been a naughty Lydia, but then it drones on like she's asthmatic...

I think my Dunmer has some serious breathing problems. Whenever he's hurt, either by falling, getting hit by an arrow, or getting a mace to the face, he makes an extremely weird noise that sound like he's coughing/choking. I was freaked out when I first heard it.

The reply's in this post made me  , haven't had this problem of late as dragons don't appear to want to fight me,
as lately they just continue to fly around and never touch the ground. A friend Said it may be due to the fact I have been
doing the imperial storyline and not the Dovakin story line. something of which I will fix tomorrow.

This post just made my day.
