No. They need to make it again from scratch.

I agree with this. I just want to be able to mix and match spells together. Something like the Game Jam spell mixing would do for me.

Didn't watch the Game Jam video. Was it much different from OB's spellmaking?

You cast flames in left and fear in right and BAM you have drain health or something like that.

There are more I just can't think of them. I like the idea.

No. Not like it was. I'd rather have the Game Jam version to create new and unique effects, rather than duplicate whatever else effects can be achieved with other means in the game. Like alchemy, which typically require a bit more "work". Since the invention of "magicka regen", magic always felt cheap, although I wouldn't want to go back to endless potion gulping either in order to work as a mage.

I think this idea sounds awesome and similar to what I was thinking. For Destruction I was thinking something like 5 basic elements like Water, Wind, Fire, Earth and Lightning. And then you can mix elements to create a new one. Like Water in one hand and Wind in the other dual casted to create Ice or something.

I also like that idea but wind, water, and earth have never been in the lore. They would need some major magical event to happen to randomly include those into this game.

Well.... actually, lore has never stopped them from taking stuff out.

Spellmaking, if you look in the Creation Kit, was possible. They just decided being a Thuum'ing, axe wielding dragonslayer is what their new target audience wanted more than being some nerdy spellmaker up in that lame mage's college.

Or something.

Yeah, the only problem is that it wouldn't fit the lore. All I know is that Kynareth "is the strongest of the Sky spirits and is the deity of the heavens, the winds, the elements, and the unseen spirits of the air."

Like I said, with some major event making those things into "magicka", I really wouldn't mind. Maybe Kynareth blesses the people with a gift of new magic...... blah blah blah dlc..... idea.....
