Strangely makes me feel more engaged with the game...

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:29 am

Just a minor little change ive noticed recently, i have been playing the game with a 360 controller but ive now decided to try the keyboard playing the game and have found that i like it a lot more for some reason. It just feels like im more engaged with the game and makes me feel like im more of a part of my character rather than playing like its an interactive movie with a controller.

Just something i thought i'd share, while im on the topic, how do you play the game, with a controller or keyboard and why? (aimed at pc users)

It's always been this way. Wish I had Skyrim for the PC.

I like to dress up in a Viking costume, let in all of the neighborhoods feral cats, and listen to Flight of the Valkeryie at deafening levels while I play. Much more immersive.

I always use Keyboard and Mouse in FPS games. Playing a FPS with a less precise controller makes me feel like controlling a handicapped person.

Just plain 'board and mouse. I find it easier to play with.

I honestly can't play a First Person game without a mouse. Been doing it that way since the first FPS's (many, many years ago) and I just can't seem to get the hang at all of using a controller to look around. In CoD games I'm always staring at my feet, or up at the sky, while people are shooting me dead. I just had to leave the X-Box games to my son and just play on my old fashioned PC.

Its strange as i cant play war games (ie cod) with a mouse and keyboard, just doesnt feel right. Probably because i have been playing them for the last 4 years on a ps3 and have gotten pretty good at it.

xbox controller aaaaaaalll the way. Using a Keyboard loses immersion for me. It feels toooooo rigid with a Mouse/board. Bub-bye to those.

I tried playing with an xbox controller but it's too slow. I always zigzag across the roads with lightning speed picking up red flowers and tundra cotton, etc. and I just can't do it with the 360 anologue thumb pad things. Back to keyboard and mouse.

The controller is gathering dust under my desk until I find a use for it. Batman, perhaps?
