Hey

I was just going to ask, My Skyrim keeps freezing randomly and I have to close the program. I use task manager and end the process, and even though it closes, it still stays open. Then, I try relaunching Skyrim, and the launch menu freezes. I eventually have to switch off my computer (by force) and reboot the computer for it to just eventually freeze again. Can somebody please give me a suggestion?

Do you have an anti-virus program running in the background?

Is the freeze-up accompanied by a loud buzzing sound?

Are you pushing your game settings past what is recommended for your computer?

Have you scaned for malware recently?

Have you performed a Check Disk and Defragmetation of the hard drive that the game is on?

Have you checked to see if you have all your updated drivers for your computer's hardware?
