I've been noticing that the draw distance has gotten a lot worse on 360 after 1.6,and it's been making the game really ugly and irritating to play. Textures, plants, walls , even NPC's now render about 10-15 feet infront of me, as I'm moving towards them, and it's really distracting. It makes the open plains around Whiterun an eyesore Has anyone else noticed this?

might be because of 1.6, might not be. hard to say (I'm playing on PC mind you).
it's important to note however, that Skyrim on consoles has an "adaptive" system in place in relation to the draw distance and LOD that caters to how "well" your system is currently handling the game. so if your system is currently being bogged down, certain visual aspects will begin to look worse as a whole (ever notice how grass will stop moving on PS3 and 360 at times when lag comes into play?). this is done so that the game (hopefully) stays near or at it's ideal, locked 30 FPS.

Interesting. Does that adaptive system function on the PC version too despite our graphics settings, or only on the console versions?
