Berserk Horses- fix?

So obviously by now we all know that if you get a horse in Skyrim, they will always rush off in front of you in you are currently not riding them and there is an enemy nearby. This often causes the horses to either get lost, or die which forces the player to buy another horse time after time. Or if they get a horse like Shadowmere, to reload all the time instead. Since the release of the Creation Kit (and even before that) the PC users could rely on mods, which made the horses stay where they were to prevent from running away or towards the enemies or getting lost.

But what about console users? I don't mean to start any flame wars between PC and console users, I myself play Skyrim on both, but recently been playing it on the console, and the "berserk horses" seems like the main problem. It's difficult to get off your horse to attack a bandit camp near the player, as you need to leave the horse far from the camp to prevent it from rushing in, all hooves blazing, risking it's life just to get killed or run away.

Can we expect some sort of a fix for this in an upcoming patch? Something like the horses not moving if near an enemy, not rushing towards them and running off not too far when attacked, to make exploring with a horse on consoles easier?
