Vanity Camera?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:11 am

Is there currently a confirmed way to disable the vanity camera in Skyrim? I've searched and every method mentioned does not seem to work. Thanks.

Could be kill-cams. I don't know, but some guy called dungeoncrawler wants to disable it

If he'd elaborate maybe we could help him.

I believe he's referring to panning the camera around your charcter when idle.

In Oblivion (and Fallout), vanity mode was activated by holding down R and rotating the camera.

Given that you can't actually do that in Skyrim and it only - as far as I know - happens when you leave the game in idle it seems a strange thing to want to disable...
...I wonder if he/she means killcams?

Srry guys for the lack of detail(s). Itlukelt is correct - I'm talking about the camera that pans around your character after idle. I'm attempting to record some ai routines in-game (habits, movement patterns, etc) and I need the camera to stay put.

I don't know about disabling it, but I think you can change the time it takes to start in the .ini file and just make it a very long time.

tfc 1 will disable/freeze all ai. However the tfc command seems to work. Its always the easiest things - thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I've used that command a hundred times and just never put 1+1 together.
