Arrow cams, flawed?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:28 pm

I'm guessing you are supposed to get these on a kill shot? But I've noticed a good number of these cam kills either miss the target or don't even register as a hit. Don't get me wrong, I like the cams, but it is a bit annoying when you expect a kill and don't get it. Any thoughts...

This is probably why they weren't put in the original game... players need to be careful what they ask for.

It trigger when the hit will kill, but it actually need a connected hit to actually kill. So it is make sense to me. But I rather calucate the arrow path into trigger factor.

Out of 10 kill cams, 2 are buggy. Not very good.

I have had a couple 'Wound Cams' before, where the target was hit, but didn't die. Last night however I had two 'Miss Cams', where the camera followed the arrow as it whizzed right by the target.

It doesn't happen enough to be a problem, but I would like to see it fixed.

Ah what it doesn't check if the arrow is actually going to hit??

I don't mind the misses, this is to be expected. It's the damned hits that don't count that bothers me the most. You line up a shot, see the arrow go into the target and nothing happens, they just carry on fighting. :ermm:

It's kind of real. How many times have we taken a shot say basketball or other target and as soon as we let it fly, we think, that's gonna hit, and then it misses. Or, maybe it's just me and my lack of athletic ability in the real world.

For me those happen mostly, when the Bullseye perk paralyzes the target.

But thank god for Mods. ^^

I agree, we see epic slow motion shots miss their targets all the time! Think NBA buzzer shot "hold your breath!!"..........Brick, Or hows about the over time field goal attempt "It looks good it looks"...........wide left. No more tears about how they made you watch your poorly planned shot go off course, correct your aim! And for those with dead on shots doing nothing pretend you managed to hit them on their wepon, sac of gold, hell maybe you struck their back pocket full of horker meat that'll stop an arrow right?!?
