Wearable Items Proposal

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:48 pm

Many people are angered or annoyed by clothing or armor always covering the chest. I believe there should be select clothing and armor that more or less shows the chest but still looks like a decent armor instead of the leather strip one.

Perhaps even the option to wear chest piece when equipping armor or clothing?

This would allow many people to increase their characters' roleplay value. It would bring out a barbaric effect on the larger and beefy Nordic men.

Does anybody else share this opinion?

I disagree. In this climate armor and clothing should actually cover more, except at "explicit places". But also, the armor value should reflect the apparent protection it gives. That "fur bikini" having same armor value as the full fur armor with sleeves just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not against more skin, but it have to make sense wrt climate, and this just isn't the game for that. In Skyrim I would expect more of the kind you see in Game of Thrones. Complete with huge capes on top and all that.

If sunbathers want to take a nudity dip in the warm swamps or look "cheap" at inn and brothels, then so be it. At least it fits that "climate".

So no, I'm not annoyed with too little skin, on the contrary...
