Not much of a difference. But imperial armour looks waay better than stormcloak armour, so id imperial.

Well, if you want gold, choose the stormcloaks. That way you can loot Imperial armor, which sells for quite a bit!
Although personally I sided with the Empire, because I agree with what they stand for.

It really only depends on which final showdown you find most satisfying.

They're both the same so go with who you like more.
