How would my "true Nord" handle the forsworn consipr

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:36 pm

So Sigmar the drunk racist bigot had a little drinking contest woke up in bloody Markarth some place he would never go (too many foreigners and Bretons). Now he's witness an incident in the market place. should I have this as a life changing moment for sigmar were he becomes tolrant and compassionte towards none nords help the forsworn. or go into a blood thirsty rage and kill every one?
seriously im not proud of Sigmar hes no example of being a Nord (he was raised badly).

If by "true Nord" you mean the Stormcloak kind, then just ignore the whole quest, or get yourself thrown into Cidhna Mine and kill Madanach and the rest of the Forsworn.

The Silver-Bloods are pro-Stormcloak so if you ignore the quest everything will continue to go their way, if you want to kill Madanach the Silver-Blood family will take some losses but the Silver-Blood guy will reward you when you get out if you killed Madanach and his Forsworn buddies. IMO it's still better from a roleplaying perspective to ignore the quest if you're pro-Stormcloak.

Ok finally some one who gets the angel of my RP. Hes not a true nord only claims to be uses it as an excuse to commit violence half the time hes so drunk he dosent know what hes doing, he just like to fight and haveing people who are non nords to target is convenient for him. Ive met alot of people like him in my time. any way I think this ones best to be skipped then only prob is another thing cloging the quest logs your never going to do.

I don't see why you should ignore the quest as a Stormcloak. The Forsworn threaten Skyrim's citizens and just because you're a 'Cloak doesn't mean you have to go along with the Silverblood's corrupt schemes.

Before I got to Markarth on my first game, I was hoping to be able to find a compromise with the Forsworn, but meeting Madanach disabused me of that notion.
Spoiler
Saying he was going to paint the walls with Nord blood to my face? Not very bright, pal. One less worry for High King Ulfric.

Sigmar would defiantly rip his head off if he said that to him he dosent need alot of reasons! Think of sigmar as being an Alabama red neck lol

Its a matter of politics or intelligence.

There would be

a, savagely attack Forsworn the same way Ulfric Stromcloak did

b, Look into Nord history and see that the Bretons were at first accepted by the Nords as 'kinsmen' and help them recognise Nords as liberators and not racial oppressors.

"Khosey, in his 'Tamrilean Tractates,' transcribes a firsthand account of the "discovery" of the Bretons by a Nordic hunting party. The Bretons, in ten generations of Elven intermingling and slavery, had become scarcely recognizable as humans. Indeed, the hunting party attacked them thinking they were some new strain of Aldmeri, halting their slaughter only when one of the oldest began to wail for his life, a shrieking plea that was spoken in broken Nordic. When word of this reached Windhelm, the Nords reasoned that the "Manmeri" beyond the Reach were, in fact, descended from human slaves taken during the Elven destruction of Saarthal. King Vrage made the first priority of his Empire the liberation of his long-tormented kinsmen in High Rock."

Bretons of High Rock != Reachmen.

In fact, the Bretons of High Rock despise the Reachmen.

some good points made here I think im going to use this as a life changing experience for him and let him help them bust out of jail. come to think of it you dont realy have to do any thing can just hang back watch the action. A new Sigmar will be born one more in harmony with his fellow man tolerant and understanding, who and I kidding lol.
