As the Arch-Mage I should be able to get apprentices to The

So I was doing a certain quest in Dawnstar
Spoiler
the one with Erandur and the nightmares that plague the town
and I got to thinking that this guy would fit the College nicely. Yes, I know that he's a Priest of Mara but I really think it would be good for immersions sake if you could recruit new apprentices to the College. You can do so for the Blades so why not the College? They're not exactly packed full with people.

Anybody agree on this?

The College has a negative reputation right now, so I'm not sure if people would be lining up to join it, especially after the questline. Aslo, I think becoming a student in the college, especially at the "Novice" level would be a bit beneath Erandur.

In all honesty though, I'd like to see you able to recruit people to all the factions.

Yes, but joining the College would have some perks though. He could study different type of magic. He wouldn't have to be a student but simply a skilled mage studying more advanced magic.

Surely there are some Elves, Bretons or Nords who would like to join the College. It feels a bit empty sometimes. At least for a College.

I think the leveling of followers in gamejam could be included for something like this but If you had a random encounter there is some Mage who comes up to you and asks for help with wards

This is one example of the things I want implemented in the College. It would be great if some of the apprentices would come and ask me for help with something.

It would be great if, for every guild, when you became the leader you could recruit more people to join.

But... since that would be great, we naturally don't get it.

I think the game is great. It's the best I've ever played but almost everything can be improved :)

I think that is a great idea. Recruiting, giving lessons, expand the college, renovate the college to fix everything that's presently broken (like that part of the bridge where the fence is gone, every single time I dread to cross it). Massive room for improvement there. I would definitely like to see at least some of those options getting realized. :)
