Hair discrimination

Not every hero looks like http://amaliehoward.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/spartacus_crixus_varo.jpg

what if I want to make a hero http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images/000/433/742_Funny_Fat_men.jpg? ordinary, fat, maybe ugly and most importantly, hairy? We're not all David Beckhams and models.

I would like more sliders in character creation and more npc variation for authenticity:
- fat people, very fat people, skinny people, hairy and impossibly hairy npcs and character
- blind, crippled, pregnant, very old people with very old body

What else would you like added in characters and npcs appearance?

Yeah, I'm tried of all the WWE wrestlers and Victoria Secret models that wander into my games. Games like the Witcher that had NPCs in range from jaw-dropping gorgeous to nightmarishly rude are always more believable. Skyrim got the faces more or less right, but the bodies themselves have much to be desired. 80 year old women having a girlish figure isn't realistic. On that note, you can't make overtly pretty guys and girls either. They all have to look like they've just wrestled a bear.

Different heights. Everyone seems to be the same height (or pretty close). I want my short wood elf.

But I guess it's too much work to make new kill animations (sneak/slit throat) for really short characters on really tall NPC's like High Elves. Make them all the same height and you don't have to make more animations.

Lol, pregnant? It's ridiculous enough to imagine a pregnant woman fighting dragons (no Xena), but really, think about it - there are no babies, you can't give birth, so what, your character will be eight month pregnant for eternity?

But yeah, I don't understand why every character we're allowed to create is near-perfect. Muscle slider is nice, but there should definitely be one for fat and hair too. And an age slider that actually works!

I know about the animations and stuff, but adding an armor for a fat person wouldn't be that difficult. Age and hair change nothing when it comes to models, so what's the problem?

Yeah, we need definetly more character customisation. I would love a height slider and body hair/tatoos.

I agree there should be more diversity in NPC's and more ways to customize our looks. And the children, they look the same, you can't even tell their race. Let alone beast races children...

Body types can not be changed as much as you might like, however, in this game, we can make some adjustments to the body weight, which we really have never had before.

However, as far as ugly goes, I can create some ugly can't find love in a brothel kind of characters. You must not be trying hard enough.

This guy creates a pretty ugly character, go to about 6 minutes into the first video

A beer belly slider would allow enormous funny characters. Hairy slider is not my style, I'm Argonian! But I'd like some hair physics, it would look amazing on Khajiit.

Short fat hairy blokes with huge beer bellys while funny are a product of the modern western world. The lean muscular appearance of the majority of skyrim comes from the hard physical life they lead. A blacksmith is going to have muscles on his muscles a poor farmer scraping out living is going to be lean. Some of the Jarls and there hangers on might be bloaters though.

Would love all of those. I'm very tired of the lack of variety in Skyrim, or most games. Are they all first cousins? More colors, too--skin, hair, eyes.

I reckon meeting obese npcs with very low stamina and running speed would be so hillarious. And we do have those hairy... er... spiders :shocking:
