Or did 3rd person get favored over 1st in this game? Personally the fact that its mostly first person was what got me into tes in the first place, in skyrim though, you cant play the game in just first even if you want to. If you wanna not chop any wood or use other objects like that, never ride a horse and never be a werewolf ( /wrists) But on top of that literally all death animations are in third person. Do you think they overcompensated for the terrinle oblivion third person (loljump) or do you think this is more of a change in direction? Also is this kind of stuff fixable by mods, or is it built too deeply into the game? I dont even have it for pc but will get it if they can

First person is fine for all but a tiny fraction of the time. I like the killcams cutting to third person myself. The only issue that bothers me is the horse riding. I always play in first person and the horse riding is so clunky that I just can't do it.

I dont know what these kill ____s are but for me its werewolf. I was more excited than you can imagine when i heard they are in the game but died inside when i found out its third person only. I wonder why though. Lack of time? Buggy? Working as intended?

I'm almost always 3rd person. Except for fights, then I go first person. 3rd person gives me more situational awareness.

But for real, its always seemed to me like these games were heavy on first person and advertised as such so im curious as to why if there is only one option on horses and werewolves its third person and not first? Im assuming third person animations on horses are a priority because npcs use them too and it has to look good, but idk how complicated it is to make third person ones too. For werewolves though its mostly combat and you dont see many that are alive so its odd

No, kill cams do svck. There are only a handful of firstperson kills in the game. I like the few first person kill cams there are but I hate the switch to 3rd person for the overwhelming majority of kill cams.
