NPC's finally know my name!

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:40 pm

Started playing a Khajiit and I named her Katt.

Now when I stand around the NPC's will say, "Do you need something Katt?". And I just smile and say nothing.

Anyone else have any names that seem to 'work' in the game?

They all retired after Aytukana Rowindani arrived on the scene.

No, the guards just refer to all Khajiit players as 'Cat', so because the OP's character is incidentally named 'Katt' it sounds like they're calling her by her actual name when in fact it's just an interesting coincidence.

I actually first noticed it in Riverwood. Alvor, who was letting me stay at his place, kept looking at me and saying "You need something Cat?". At first thought he was being rude, which I thought was odd since he was so nice to me before, but then I realized he was just well acquainted with me.

I named a character 'Arrgh.' All the characters cry out his name when he whacks them. Why they don't just scream is beyond him.

Reminds me of in FNV. I named my latest character Cory Ersix, meaning that ulysses refers to me by name.

There are some interesting names here, though I'll have to remain satisfied with seeing Kaidan on the assassin notes.

If I gave my character a name like (how can I help) Abrother Nord, I'd expect him to want to Fus Ro Dah me through the tv screen.

I used to have a mother named sweetroll, and a naked kajieet or whatever their called, took her from me. I went to a guard to report the crime and he said, "Let me guess; someone took your sweetroll).

Not my original idea, but on one of my characters I made a bow named "the wind" so when bandits said "huh, must've been the wind", they're right.
