I usually play with it off. But I feel lonely sometimes. Should I turn it back on?

If you feel better with music on, sure, turn it on.

Well, I for one feel that the "epic soundtrack" is a tad bit over-rated. I will always keep it off.

I turn footsteps and effects all the way up.

however, there's something to be said for my DiD games with no hud and no music and the sound up loud.

It is more immersive with it off, but I kind of like the music, so I usually just turn it way down. I keep the HUD 100% off though. I find any compromise on that to be just too distracting.

I haven't touched the sound so the music is there but I never notice it in game. I might turn it off because I am getting bored of the loading screen music though.

I always like games better with good soundtracks, they don;t add or remove immersion, but they just give me that chill down that spine that I need in order to say "this game gave me so many good memories."

so, the 'enemy attacking' music doesn't alert you to the fact that you are being attacked?

I always get conflicted - the soundtrack is very good, but sometimes I want to hear nature. So, specifically, I would like to have no dungeon or "normal" battle music, but have events, tavern music, occasional explore music and dragon fight music. I guess I'll get around to putting in the blank files to do this one day
