Heavy fog in RiftenMarkarth?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 9:58 am

Has anyone had this before, or am I experiencing some weird glitch, or have I just never noticed it? I am currently experiencing pretty heavy fog in Riften for the past 3-4 game days. I also experienced upon entering Markarth. The previous day, it was not there in Markarth.

IT makes nighttime VERY dark with Realistic lighting.

Am I experiencing a bug or is this a weather pattern in these cities?

I think its weather, because both of these towns mentioned are quite high.

Do you have Clear Skies? If it's weather, that should sort it. Shout it at night, the Aurorae should soon appear.

I don't have any shouts as I don't do the MQ.

I've done this in the Reach, it was like a 'summon Aurora' spell.

Wikia specifically says 'Using this in a city with usually overcast weather (ex. Riften) will change the weather into sunny.' So I would assume it's the weather anyway.

So everyone acknowledges there are fog weather patterns in Markarth and Riften and it isn't just me?

Riften has especially ugly weather in my game. As posted, Clear Skies solves it.

I dont use magic ether but I dont view shouts as magic you have the soul of a dragon using a shout is speaking in the language of your soul. Not that Im attempting to be a play like me Nazi anyone can play as they like its just the way I view shouts.

I've just noticed that somedays it gets very foggy early in the morning untill about 10 AM. Then the fog clears and the sun shines, just like in real life.

This just happens in the southern part of the map though.

I know but after doing the MQ twice, I get really sick of the dragon attacks, so I am doing strict roleplaying on this character and I have no intentions of doing the MQ.
