There should be an "unarmed" skill tree

I'm confused. What perks would this tree have? How would it level up? More prudent questions.

There is what there is. An unarmed skill tree would be fun. But so would twenty other trees. At some point, there would be too many trees. I'm happy with the 15 trees we have. Would 18 be better? Maybe. Would 30 be better? Probably not. People are asking for werewolf trees and vampire trees. People want acrobatics back. If they put in every tree that people thought would be fun, the over all experience would be diminished.

Not sure what perks. Still thinking. But leveling it up is self explanatory. If you use your fists then it would level up

There are 18 now.

No, I think unarmed would be kind of pointless. Well, no, how about this instead..you can use unarmed with a normal skill tree when fighting human/humanoids but when you try to kung fu a bear, a saber tooth, or a dragon, you die automatically? In fact, they should come up with special animations. When kicking a giant in the shin with your triple spin kick, he reaches down, pulls your leg off and beats you into the ground with it. I could get behind that.

That would be easy enough. Maybe even throw in a few unarmed base perks.

i like this idea, how about when you try and punch a bear in the face you get to watch him catch your fist in his mouth and rip your arm off then he slowly devours your corpse...

This is one of the most missed out opportunities of the whole perk system. Unarmed could have been so much fun if they had perked it correctly. Damage increases, special attack moves, more finishers, disarming moves, holds, possibly kicks. It just could have been a lot of fun. Hey it's possible to fight unarmed in the game so why not utilize it to the fullest and let people have some fun? Some of the unarmed finishers are really cool. As Robbaz would say "Dental Appointment"!!! Just for fun I would love to make one of these characters but the damage output is so limited that it's probably only good on a low difficulty setting. Unfortunately there's only one perk to help it out. I guess maybe they figured that might be of help if you got hit with a disarming shout but who's not going to just pull out another weapon from their inventory? No there should have been a tree dedicated to unarmed. What's it going to hurt. It's not like they had to have a limited number of perk trees or something. If you don't like it just don't use it.

You can already do that. I've gotten unarmed damage with Khajiit to 60 without using all resources.

No. You would grab his upper and lower mouth and proceed to break is jaws with your brute strength.

You can get rediculous damage in everything if you use exploits. One shot ancient dragons with flames, iron dagger, wooden bow, and your bare fists. Exploits do not make the game.

i agree there should be an unarmed skill tree granted using the gloves of the pugilists enchant or fists of steel helps. but it doesnt allow for hand to hand to be a viable playstyle if heavy armor or enchanting isnt your cup of tea.

Perks I would add besides the obviouse +damage or -power attack stamina cost ones would be one that enabled you to enchant gloves with weapon enchantments, one that would be the same as Fists of Steel, but for light armor gloves (would not have a perk behind it so it would be optional), and one to give you a chance to evade any attack thrown at you.
