(Post Limit?) About "Something Coming In April"?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:42 pm

You have got to be kidding me, that the Moderator shut down "Something Coming In April" post! Why?

Does this sound suspicious to anyone?

What... Did we just possible figure out the Morrowind DLC, thus ending the discussion do to a Spoiler? We were simply just thinking, and talking about possibilities here. That's what forums are all about. So, you had to end it?

Why Mr. Rohugh Moderator???

I believe you will find this would have been better asked in a PM to the Moderator.

Oh, LOL! Sorry about that. Yup, newbie here...

After I posted this, I immediately saw someone else post, that it had been locked. So, I got excited figuring maybe there is more to this, and might be getting on to something...

We will then have to wait and see, just what this stupidly "Top Secret DLC" will be...

Still say Morrowind guys! We can further this idea, right?

Again, we are just freely posting ideas our ideas to a possible DLC, and hope the moderators can understand that.

Whether we are correct, or not. Nothing has been official, but it's fun to dream of Morrowind, right?

Sometimes the mods slack a little bit. Hey, can't blame them for finishing up that last bit of Skyrim dungeon before checking up on the forums again, sometimes!

Take a look at http://i.imgur.com/s3mbz.jpg. Skyrim has two roads leading there. It could be a possible location of the so called 'Morrowind DLC'. Remember, it's all speculation at this point. We possibly know the name, 'Dawnguard', but it might be another unrelated game registered by ZeniMax media anyway...

I think a post limit is rediculus! And, there can be never enough trolling...

Just saw this article in the latest edition of Xbox Magazine!

(Word for Word...)

ON THE HORIZON
I've been playing sky room for a while now and I've been wondering about DLC. while looking up info on the web I came across a rather interesting glitch that I ended up trying out; the result was me looking down on Cyrodiil And Morrowind. Could this be the foundation for future additional content? - Shane

We say: Funny you ask, Shane. Just as you wrote in to us, Bethesda's Todd Howard confirmed in an interview at DICE that says, you were looking at Morrowind and Cyrodiil. Unfortunately, he went on to say they're not necessarily indicators of planned DLC: "The reason they are there - and I will not say if we are or are not using them in the future - is when we first built the landmass for Skyrim we knew we were going to have these tall mountains. We have views early in the project where you can see into the [neighboring] province from the other game. We needed to have something [there]... [T]he thinking is, maybe we'll use it one day, but our larger worry was, 'I'm going to climb up on top of a mountain and look that way. What will I be able to see there?' We try to cover all those angles as much as we can."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Key Quotes:
1.) "and I will not say if we are or are not using them in the future"
2.) "[T]he thinking is, maybe we'll use it one day"

So, there you go guys! It's a possibility.

I would really rather not see Morrowind as an expansion. I know there are some that want nothing more than a Morrowind with Skyrim graphics, but I would prefer to go somewhere we haven't been before. Besides, it seems that generally, most who love Morrowind are not big fans of Skyrim. So why would you want Morrowind tainted with Skyrim gameplay, mechanics, and features? It's not like they would just recreate Morrowind exactly how that game was.

Very few people actually read all 200 posts in a thread. Sometimes people don't read even fewer than 200 posts; for example the forum rules that people were supposed to read before they joined, since you had to agree to abide by them in order to join. The post limit is explained in the forum rules. It generally works better to lock a long thread; if people are interested in the topic, they can make another thread.

Any trolling is a very bad idea. It generally leads to warnings and posting ability suspensions for days, the time depending on whether the warning is the first or not.
