People don't care about the dead dragon.. until you take its

Has anyone noticed that once you kill a dragon all the NPC's go off doing there own thing whilst you absorb its soul, but as soon as its absorbed everyone rushes round to see it... it makes literally no sense and its hurts immersion slightly, i want everyone to gasp as they witness its soul merge with my own.. would anyone like to see a fix for this?

I think it's just them recovering from the sheer blinding terror that was the dragon attacking them. From the moment you kill the thing to when you absorb the soul, they're going, "W-wait...is it over? W-we're still here? We're still alive? W-who killed that thing? Wait, what's that weird light enveloping that person? I'd better check it out."

I'd even settle for people actually realizing what those are. It's very (not) amusing how every peasant, cook or housewife is trying to kill a dragon with a kitchen knife, dressed in night gowns.

Its just Bethesda, not paying attention to details. But im sure that doesnt take a lot of skill and hard work to do, and we could fill up this game with details if they would listen

I thought the attention to details was one of their strong points...

Yeah like, a jounarl near dead body saying something is in that cave?
How about npc reaction to corpse?
When you are moving NPCs objects [RED marked], what is their reaction, Be carefull?

Have you seen the size of the game? If they were to get every little detail in then it'd take over 20 years to finish.

Its not every single detail, its the one which appears the most, NPC reactions and stuff

This is really something game modders would be best to sort out if they want more realism.

Favourite bit is when you've brought the umpteenth dragon crashing to the ground in some town... the commonest response amongst the gawkers is "I've never seen anything like it before... can it be?"
Have they all been bedridden, or on vacation since November.

You've got to like what the previous poster mentioned about everyone in the village having a go though. I've even witnessed the bag-lady of Riften pitching in. At least the Nords of Skyrim make up in pluck what they lack in clued-in-ness.
