Where is that music?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 9:02 pm

So, I've been searching for this for days and I've come up empty. There are a couple of music tracks in Skyrim that I hear from time to time, and I really like them. The problem is, they're not on the soundtrack, and I can't find them anywhere. I'm reading a book called Pillars of the Earth, and I have a playlist comprised of music tracks from Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim that I like to listen to while I read. One of the missing tracks can be found at the 4:59 mark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imH4Ncoe9Gs. I figured by now, some PC users would have extracted the tracks, converted the file types if needed, and posted them on the internet. Is there anywhere I could go to find these music tracks?

Hey I am unsure of the track you're requesting, but is there someway you can identify the intro inhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4AepvA2JOQ&feature=BFa&list=PL6BD8AB5BD35F7632&lf=plcp?

Holy crap, after hearing some of these tracks, I am going to go into the audio options and turn up the background music, and turn down the sound effects. The music in this game is BEYOND SUPERB. If anything in Skyrim is perfect it is the music. I mean listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt1xSy6O7gQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=20s

Still searching btw. Going though all of them in order.

I just listend to all of them and I swear I didn't hear either of the tracks that either of you were looking for....I want to know what they are now too.

Fortunatley I found some other amazing tracks that I don't quit remember hearing ingame...I should really turn up the music, and I will.

Lol, glad you like it. It's too bad those other tracks are nowhere to be found, though.

I even asked the man who made the video what the name of the track was and he said that he used the music he heard playing which doesn't indicate anything. lol I am sure they will eventually show up.

how come you guys can hear the ingame music?
For me, i cranked my volume up to 25%, ingame voice and Master volume to max, and Music volume to 80%
Yet, i only hear voices, footsteps, skills etc. I only hear music playing VERY rarely. By very rarely, i mean its very RARE. I heard the ivarstead BGM today, first time i had heard it since release date(and i been to ivarstead countless times). Is the ingame music bugged?

In my game music doesn't play as often as it did in Morrowind or Oblivion, but it shouldn't be as rare as what you describe.

All of the Elder Scrolls music are perfect for the individual games they're in. Some are so good, ES Signatures (Silt Sunrise for example) that they carry the legacy of The Elder Scrolls through each game.

My favorite is Probably http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5JZn1xPkNI

my ONLYcomplaint about the soundtrack, is the separate dungeon tracks that sort of "Try too hard". I think I'd rather listen to the standard Day/Night music in dungeons (Night is probably better).

I think it has to do with the Time of Day. Dawn and Dusk, I don't think any music plays, while the game waits to transition to the day or night playlist.

Skyrim ties Mass Effect 1 with Best Soundtrack, but the game that takes the cake is the whole World of Warcraft series of soundtracks, the nostalgia is too much for me...

I actually loved all Mass Effect soundtracks, but if I had to pick, I'd have to go with ME2's. As for WoW's soundtrack, it was pretty amazing.

Still no luck on finding those missing tracks?

All of those tracks play in the Inns like the Bee and Barb in Riften. I've heard the first two play in the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. Those are my favorite pieces in the game (in the order that you posted them).

Yeah actually... the one I posted was actually a piece of a song just looped lol. it was a 3 sec loop of a song I believe. I could be wrong but I studied it thoroughly, I will check your request and try a similar approach.
