Gentlemen's Club in Skyrim?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:10 pm

Is there a "gentlemen's club" in Skyrim? I remember there was one in Morrowind (I can't remember the town). Has anyone discovered one in Skyrim? It'd be nice.

If you mean something like that place with the dancing girls in Morrowind, no. Girls get the hotter part of the spectrum since we can find shirtless men. Hehe. If you mean member's only kind of places, guilds? I don't know what else would be close to that.

Just found out you meant places like that place in Suran. No there isn't any.

I would normally think it's a bit out of place in a medieval place such as Tamriel, but this is hightened reality and besides, they had such places in ancient Rome, and The Middle-East had harems (not the same thing, I know), so why not Tamriel?

There was that tavern in Morrowind that you found in Suran. Morrowind is part of Tamriel, so it kind of is already there. There also was the member's only type of parties you could never get into legally in Oblivion. Those were obviously just skooma chugging parties for rich people. So the series has already had at least two different kinds of this term called Gentlemen's Club. It doesn't always equate to well... That place in Suran I mentioned that had the dancing girls. It can also mean a member's only thing for the upper class, though I doubt people use that definition anymore. I never even knew gentlemen's club was a term until I googled it just to answer the OP's question.

Out of place? Go to a chapel of Dibella in Daggerfall and tell me if it is out of place.

Then again if you can do the deed and tell the wife, "I was at the temple", would you bother with a strip joint?

Those chapels are the only reason my Daggerfall character believes in a god.

Tamriel is not medieval. It has its own time periods and cultures which are not related to Earth in any sense.

This made me think of the Etruscans for some reason. They pre-dated Rome, but I think they did some pretty crazy stuff.

Probably the closest thing you're going to get in-game is Haelga's Bunkhouse.
