» Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:05 pm I spend most of my time in third person to enjoy the world around me as well as the character i'm currently playing, sometimes I'll stay in third person for combat too. What bugs me is the weapon palcement, or more so lack of weapon palcement options and displays during different periods of combat. Nothing would make me more happy than to be able to keep my two-handed sword on my back WHILE I'm casting a dual wielded spell instead of my shoving the six foot blade somewhere on my person. Having my bow displayed on my back with my two hander would be great to, perhaps move the bow placement towards my lower back? Also I love the look of having one-handed weapons being displayed on the back of your character (mostly talking about swords here) as well as my shield. And don't get me started on dual wielding, everytime I draw my weapons I turn into a conjurer and pull my off-hand weapon from thin air.
If Bathesda included these features it could lead to a completely new set of weapons that would fix many complaints from mages, caster weapons. Something like a "Glass Daggeror the Brutal Elements" or soemthing wear as long as this weapon is equiped your Destruction spells do 22% more damage.
What I'm describing to you makes my character sound like a bit of a pack mule with 30 different things on his back, but I always thought if a game offered display options like this vanilla it would be a great show of how the developers considered fine tuning the player customization.
I'm on console so please don't recommend going PC for mods. Hopefully we are able to transfer Steam over to Xbox live so I can download all the great content you Modders have made, I solute your efforts!!
