TES is for the FANS ! (hardcoe fans will undrstand)

(THIS IS NOT A RANT , its more like an insights of a hardcoe TES fan about the future) let me just start off by saying that Skyrim is great, but no doubt Beth has simplyfied the game over the years , In my opinnion Morrowind is the perfect game. An excellent mixture of , folllowing directions (no gps or tracking system) , an following your instincts (objectives dont appear in "completed the next objective is ... ) , and surviving in a harsh enviornment (most enemies and situations are not leveled, if you're level 1 and you find yourself standing against a level 20 dremora ..your screwed) in Oblivion the mix and matching of the armor pieces was remmoved. The armor became greater decreased into bigger pieces like Armor, helmet, gaunlets, boots , and greaves.. ok this was not so bad but it was still a dissapointment to the hardcoe TES fan. Dont get me wrong Oblivion was revolutionary i spent days after days finding the hidden treasures and leveling up to the highest levels possible for no particular reason. (i think it may have been the love for this game). Anyway in Skyrim this was simplified even more ! armor, helmet , gaunlets , and boots. Come on beth.. were starting to have a love\hate relationship.. back in daggerfall and morrowind you could have a different gaunlet and a different shoulder on each side of your character. Whatever it is still EElder scrolls and the armor issue is not such a big of a deal is what i told myself, but in my opinnnion the greatest dissapointment of all time is the removing of skills. TES has gone from having hundreds of different skills and thousands of items corresponding to each of those skills to having like 20 skills and around 10 armor sets (not exact numbers im making a guess lol) What im trying to say by this is that Beth has made great imporvements but also some dissapointments , I understand what they are trying to do with this, trying to make the game more general friendly and it has worked Skyrim got into the hands of a lot of hype beasts and now its one of the most famous games out right now, In the life of real Elder Scrolls Fan playing TES back then felt amazing it felt like a small cult of people that had discovered the next big game, And yes our dream came true but not in the way we wanted it , or well at least i expected it . In a simplified version of a actionn RPG . Beth i still love you , i still love TES , ill always love this game. Surprisingly this game has been a huge part of my childhood. Please im just asking of you.. next TES should be made for the Fans not for the general gamers.

No.

Every game, TES included, should evolve to be fun and challenging for the "hardcoe" fans and the general populace alike.

Giant wall of text makes this hard to read. I do tend to agree with you, just don't expect anything to change for future titles. If anything TES and (hopefully not) Fallout will continue to get simplified.

Skyrim is a great game all on it's own, but IMO, it is lacking as an Elder Scrolls game. I would hope that Todd and company take note of our criticisms and rectify some of our biggest gripes with this continuing trend.

They should add a hardcoe mode for the next Elder Scroll's game. Like what they had in Fallout New Vegas.

This is why i put (hardcoe fans will understand) i get your point . But TES just doesnt feel like TES anymore. I think everyone will agree with me that Skyrim is nothing compared to games like Morrowind and Daggerfall

i get you , i actually tried to make the wall of text short as possible but the thing is that my ideas and opinnions just cant fit in a small summary. i wanted to let the community new players and hopefully even Beth if they read this to try to save my childhood game .

The problem arises when you're trying to balance between the two.

"Casuals" don't really want a stat system, "hardcoe" do, and that nets us the current system... which proves to not appease a lot of "hardcoe" and some "casual."

i just hope Bethesda doesn't turn into other companies that only make games for money and not about the game , i just hope they keep the Elder scrolls spirit alive. Companies such as EA have messed up classics like Need for Speed and Tony hawk . Those games are trash but people still buy them because they come out every year and they already have their reputation for being good so they sell millions. Now Skyrim gained its rep this year among the new players for making such a hype . I just hope beth makes the right choice .

Then break it up to into paragraphs. As it stands it seems like one big stream of consciousness rant, and makes it hard to follow.

The only hardcoe TES fans in existance are the ones who started with Arena back in 1994. Those who started the series with Morrowind, Oblivion or Skyrim are delusional TES mainstream n00bs who think they are hardcoe, but in reality they are just clueless brats.

Morrowind is very dumbed down from Daggerfall, only TES mainstream gamers would consider the game to be any good, not hardcoe TES fans.

I don't think it can be more simplified at this point. My hope is that Beth realizes they're standing on a streamlined platform as is and takes care to add aditional layers to it, like more choice in NPC-interactions, deeper writing etc.
