I founded a 1.5 bug!

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:46 pm

Atleast i believe its a 1.5 bug... when i go towards a word wall all the normal noises happen, then after i finish absorbing the word the little epic "HUH!" thing doesnt happen at the end to symbolise me achieving the word... has this happened to anyone else? Did it happen before the update?

EDIT: Just for the record, this has happened twice to me.

Lots of mod-related bugs were introduced with 1.5. I really don't understand why Bethesda doesn't test their patches with at least a few common mods installed (like ANY player house installed would have found the BIG bugs in 1.5).

That would happen to me before 1.5 (PS3). I noticed it happening once my character was over level 40 or so.

Works fine for me. I recall reading that there is a mod that causes a similar problem ...

I have found a HUGE bug in Skyrim after 1.5. I cannot go into water that is deep enough for me to go underwater because if I do it immediately freezes, and I have to turn off my PS3 and turn in it back on. I even tested it by purposely running into the water, and it froze so is anyone else experiencing this? This bug is a huge game breaker since I cannot complete the DB quest because I have to swim to the ship. Bethesda if you read this can you please fix this.

Bethesda patches the Vanilla Game. They will do what they need to do to fix the issues in the original game, not a modded one. However, the patches now go through beta so that most active modders update their mods during that period. Even with that, it is up to the mod user to update their mods and adjust any mod mix issues with each patch.

You can participate in the beta if you want to preview any mod issues with an upcoming patch.

See the third post in this thread, it applies to all platforms. Note, you may not need to delete and reinstall the whole game, just the update. But otherwise follow those directions.

I tried that method, but when I started up the game it only did the first patch, 1.05. So how do I get it to do the other patches? Can someone please help me out.
