How close are we to DLC?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 8:31 pm

Its been 6 months Bethesda! 6 MONTHS! I don't care if we don't get it for another month, for another 2 months, just ANNOUNCE IT! Does anyone else feel this way? I love Skyrim and i've started playing again after i left it for ME3 for a while, and ME3 has had day 1 DLC (which im glad Skyrim didnt have i will admit, im glad Bethesda didnt follow the crowd and give us all bits and pieces for gettin the CE or like facebook pages or releasing other crap), but ME3 is also releasing some multiplayer packs soon, and followed by Story very soon im sure! Im also very happy with the 1.5 update, with the kill cams and under-water textures, which is sort of free dlc in itself, but im waiting for real DLC, just for it to be announced, that will fill me up enough... does anyone else think the same.

On a side note its sort of a good thing they are taking their time 'cause it means it will be meaty and brilliant (hopefully)

According to some recent blog posts, they're aiming to release their first DLC by Mid-April, or May if need be.

Keep in mind that Shivering Isles was announced two months before it was actually released. We'll probably get announcement in "Mid-April, or May if need be" with the actual content coming out one to three months after that.

You can't compare ME3 Day0 DLC with Skyrim...the ME3 DLC was a feature that should've been included with the game already (well...it was certainly included with mine...but only because I bought Collector's edition)...nonetheless I swear I'll never buy another Bioware game again.

And anyway, it has been already stated by Beth that a big announcement is coming this month, so why the hurry?

I don't care. I'll not be finished with the core game (guild quests) by release anyhow. The longer it takes, and the more it resemble a full-fledged expansion pack, the happier I am.

Also remember that Beth signed a deal with Microsoft giving them exclusive rights to the first DLC release for 30 days so you can add an additional 30 days to whatever the release date is if you are not on the 360 !!

Let's hope they announce something on the 11th since that's when it'll be the 6 month anniversary, but don't expect it to be released before may.

Until Bethesda tells us when the DLC will ship, there is no news to discuss about the release date.
