In the patch notes for 1.5 it says it fixed followers not sneaking properly.

What excatly did they fix? Are followers with sneak as prinary skill worth anything now?

Has anyone seen any improvement?

i believe the problem was that followers would sometimes not sneak with you, and/or occasionally when you stop sneaking they would continue to....i think those were the issues.

Damn.... I had wished it meant that they wouldn't break stealth the minute they saw someone and that they could actually sneak without alerting the entire dungeon...

I am not saying their sneaking svcked, but what I am saying is that now it's fair...

I haven't tried to be honest. But the consensus was that you do not take followers with you if you sneak. I was wondering if that was know a feasible prospect.
