The Skyrim Arena : V

Okay so what do you guys think about Bethesda maybe adding in a patch where they place a huge arena in Skyrim (almost like the one they had in Oblivion) where 2 Xbox Live players could enter the battlefield and battle it out with their multitude of armor, weapons, and magic. I feel like this could be extremely epic because each character can be so unique and carry various items with them. I have become so powerful in Skyrim that I just want to take my skills to the test and whoop some ass against other players! There could even be weekly tournaments to see who the last man standing is and people could win special prizes (armor? weapons?). THIS COULD BE AWESOME

Maybe if we were able to get enough support Bethesda would consider it? What do you guys think?

^I agree. It would just end up with people just spamming the best items and that's not roleplaying. I would, however, like an arena like in Oblivion.

It won't happen, but I think that's probably the closest thing we would have gotten if they would consider it. I personally wouldn't mind a little PVP/duels with friends online, but nothing more than that. Something Bethesda should do first is actually make an arena for Skyrim (likethe one in Oblivion) with people to fight against after you've become the Grand Champion and not animals and such.

I realize it's just an RPG and that Skyrim has to stay true to its single player experience but if they added an Arena and regulated these 1v1 matches and tournaments, it could be great and add some serious longevity to the game. I wouldn't mind this at all. And yes guys sorry I forgot to mention PS3 and PC (could work on all systems). All they would have to do to keep spamming at a minimum would be to just make it extremely hard to get these rewards and that would require people to have to put in some serious time. Only the best would be able to get the top prizes.

All I could see is fighting people wearing the exact same "Best equipment" and spamming the same thing

If there were to be one, it'd be best there is no reward for winning, if there was people would take it way too far O.o
