% bonus to sneak

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 10:05 pm

so there is no information on this that i can find, so im looking for some help/info on the subject

Q: is there a cap to sneak, %bonus to sneak?

because as it stands there are many locations to recive benifits, but not much info on what stacks with what and to what effect.

-sneak skill 100
-sneak perks making you harder to detect
-sneak enchanted gear
-vampire sneak bonus

-muffle makes you harder to hear
-various perks in armor catagory and sneak making you harder to hear

so is there a benifit to having a bunch active? is there a hidden cap? any info on the subject is welcome :)

Even if their isn't a hidden cap, at least you can't get to the level of 100% chameleon.

actually i tried that in oblivion, found it boring and hard to use, as you dont have a blurry outline of your character your just completly gone, grass and water still moved though.

but i dont like chameleon or invisibility in any TES game. i prefer just sneak, seems a little more skillfull like you spent years being a good sneak, not 5 sec reading a book and casting a spell that mimics years of skill -_-

in fact im VERY happy they took open lock out of the spell list, was tired of of friend who played a caster in oblivion commenting to the effect of:

"oh you level'd sneak, i just a cast spell"
"oh you level'd open lock, i just cast a spell"
"oh your a vamp and use hunters sight, i just cast a spell"

im actually happy they reduced the number of skill mimicing spells and made custom spells.
