Just started a new character, my nord doesn't have the frost resistance under magic effects. Nor does it seem to be applying in battle.

Had a quick look online and it seems a few people have this problem with male nords and dunmer, so I guess I'll restart this character, choose Breton.

Anyone else had this? I'm playing on Xbox and this character was made after patch 1.5.

More than likely the 1.5 patch did not take. Try deleting the update and re-applying it. You may have to disconnect from Live before you remove the update, then remove it, then connect up again and let the game patch.

I'll try this before I restart my character, I don't think it will help as all other aspects of 1.5 are working as intended.

Damn thats like an Imperial not having a bonus to speech . . . . . oh wait.
