soo i check the bug list for Lydia and it turns out that the whole "follower in my way thing seriously needs to be fix" and also her dialogue IF you marry her it turns out once on a blue moon she calls you "thane" and other times she will say "yes love" note Bethesda 1.6 FIX THE NPC's that have issues and also fix lydia plz thanks

I still can't marry my Lydia, unfortunately. I've heard that you either need to clear my data or start a new character to have the changes from 1.5 take effect, so I'll try that. I sort of doubt it though, since I've been getting the new kill cams and such.

As soon as I patched to 1.5, (PS3), it "fixed" some of the Lydia issues, and she straight away became marryable...I didn't have to clear anything.
