Another bug eh not cool :(

I'm running a clean version of Skyrim, with high texture that is from Bethesda.
So what's up with the wood? This shiny wood can be found other places aswell, that isn't bonefire either.

Just normal wood that you hack on! So what's up, just me or for everyone?

You can view it here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/imageshare/image.php?id=71237

Thank you, sir.

But Bethesda will fix this in next patch, right? Shouldn't have to install a mod to fix this..

hmm I doubt whether they will fix it soon....I guess the issue is way down on their list, because of other major releases are just around the corner
Maybe the fix will be included in the DLC (or 2nd HighRes texture pack, which includes DLC textures)?

I never tried the pack from Bethesda, but got http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=607 instead. Never needed a neon-firewood fix.

Together with the http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8655, and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13268, and maybe http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7654, you'll end up with a stunning experience (suppose your PC can handle it).

Consider that as a basic setup to have the best possible IQ, which still has much of the default Skyrim atmosphere.
From that point on, you can start adding mods to improve plants, trees, windows, boats etc...if you wish

p.s. if you want to stop using the HRes pack from Beth, search the forums...I think you only have to disable the two .esm's (or .esp's, whatever dunno).
The data will stay on your HD though.
