Skyrim in Primetime

On the tv show NCIS a geeky character just used the "arrow to the knee" joke.

It was priceless.

Not sure if good news, or bad news.

On one end, how many games outside of Call of Duty get a reference in primetime?

On the other end, how many games Outside Call of Duty get a reference in primetime..?

Moar musings: If nothing else, Skyrim's popularity disproves the gaming industry (specifically the mantras of Activision and EA) spectacularly, and hopefully signals greater things to come. Jim Sterling said this much, albeit with gratuitous use of the F--- Word.

Was about to post something since I'm watching it now. One of their victims "ran a Skyrim message board". Any mods secretly members of the "eight"? Come on, spill it.

On Emmerdale, Paddy was talking about how he cant go out with this girl or something, and he said "3 words. Elder. Scrolls. Skyrim." Even though he missed out "the" i still freaked out.
Emmerdale is a british soap opera on ITV1...

Alright, commercial. Speculation time. So what do you think, money getting thrown around to re-awaken awareness prior to the "soon to be released" DLC (according to the last thing I found recently that is, within this month maybe)? I peg it as justified advertising budget.
