Hi, I was randomly doing quests without focusing on any particular guild. But then I noticed/remembered that I had to talk to a certain NPC (Maven Black-Briar) that wasn't on my questlog. After looking it up, I noticed that the quest "Dampened Spirits" did not start and talking to Brynjolf results in him telling me that he is busy and talking to Maven does not result in the progression of the non-acquired quest. I've only started playing Skyrim after the 2.04 update. I thought the issue was fixed when patch 1.04 came out? Also, Riften sometimes lags even when the guards are not chasing after a thief. Could somebody help me please? I tried deleting the game data and update multiple times.. I tried waiting for over 30 minutes for the quest to auto-start but nothing.. My character is level 65 now and I'd rather not have to restart from scratch..
