Armorclothing clipping caused by too heavy a build.

Has anyone been able to narrow down which level of weight causes problems with armor clipping?

I was thinking about giving my male dark elf a heavy build (1 slider before heaviest), but I don't know if this will cause armor clipping with advanced armors, such as those sets which I have never owned.

Clipping is a problem that is becoming worst and worst with every performance patch. You'll have clipping on some armour regardless of the weight or build of your character.

I have read about one problematic one, Ebony Armor I believe, is supposedly clipping into the necks, or Ebony mail?

Another had something to do with masks of some sort.

I was just wondering if there was a safe weight, yet still heavy.

If your hair is too long it clips into the Novice hood. I have not seen it clip with other hoods.

I have a character with the longest hair style, and it does not clip into the Novice hood at all.

However, it does clip badly into the Novice robes without a hood, or helmet on.
