One day I went on a killing spree, and killed every solitude guard. (wow was that a fight). There body's have disappeared. But now there's no guards at all. They haven't respawned at all. Now every time I go to solitude there is not one guard in sight. It's not a huge problem. I've even waited 30 days. Anybody else had this happen? It's never happened to me in other holds.

Well I just looked it up on the wiki and it's a known bug for solitude guards to not ever respawn after killing them

Your going to find that killing the "Extras" makes for a lonely game after a bit. I am real selective about who I off in the game as I go along because I like having NPCs around when I am in a town. Dungeons and wilderness give me plenty of things to dull my sword on swing my sword at.

I wonder how that would affect the battle when the Stormcloaks assault Solitidue. You get all ready for the big fight and then... crickets.

They might all be stuck in the barracks. This is what happens to the Thalmor guards in the frontyard of Thalmor embassy. It was quite a suprise when I walked in there and discovered all of them, without being attacked.

Looks like you are gonna have to strap on the badge and become head honcho of Solitude's guard. G'luck.

Now you just have to go around shooting people in the knees.

Seems like a pretty simple solution to me.

Too bad you couldn't get there in time to save that one guard who was executed.
