No hand to hand dragon finishers?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 5:46 am

I had gotten this frost dragon super low health by spamming incinerate, and I thought how epic a hand to hand finisher would be on it. So I ran up to it, and did the finishing sequence, but all I did was the one handed finishing move but with nothing in my hands. Like with an invisible sword or something. I am on xbox 360. Is this a normal occurrence?

i've never personally experienced it but i've read all over these forums that hand to hand finishing moves have been added. you probly just didn't get the sequence? (aren't they randomized?)

To perform a finishing move, you tap the attack button and flick the stick in a direction. And I got the sequence, only the killcam had me holding an invisible sword.

Ok chastity, go to a dragon get super low health. Unequip a melee weapon and punch it and flick the stick, and watch you stab the dragon's head with an invisible sword. You may want to save first in case you don't end up doing a finisher. But trust me.

ok i believe you.

i was actually just reacting to the fact that you can perform finishing moves on command. i thought they were always random.
i've probly been triggering them without even knowing it.

I also thought it was random when (if) you would get a finishing move. I'll have to try it tonight (on PS3).

Chuck Norris makes dragons punch themselves to death.

Changing my comment as it was incorrect. Apparently, according to the Wiki if it's correct, you can move the stick in different directions to change the outcome of the finishing move. As for the dragon I don't know, I know for me the mace and sword animations on the dragon finisher where you jump on his head were identical. It's possible it just uses that same animation for unarmed.
