Will we ever learn....

Any one else think all this demand for DLC could possibly impact on it's quality?

Even if it doesn't, my experience of this and other forums are of people complaing about Skyrim being rushed for the 11.11.11 release date due to marketing purposes, then in the next breath demanding DLC almost immediately.

Beth, take your time. We ain't going nowhere. Just deliver on the quality and i think the majority of us will be chuffed to bits.

I agree, I prefer a longer wait for a bigger dlc (more like expansions)

Every game is rushed. The level of which it is rushed varies.

Consumer demand for a product should not make said product bad quality.

No, I don't think demand will make them rush it out any sooner. It will be done when it's done, and we just have to wait.

In that you are right.

Though that kinda makes this thread pointless.

No it doesn't because it's a forum and what i say is just an opinion, and i would like to hear the opinions of others like that of your good self. So therefore this thread serves a purpose.

I don't think it's so much everyone's demanding DLC right this instant. At least I'm not.

I'm just tired of them going "We've got big news for you!" and then when the announcement comes, it's something very minor. And after the people start voicing their disappointment, someone from Bethesda says "Wait! There's something else! And it's just around the corner! Stay tuned!"

They don't have to release it right now. They don't even have to release information about it. They just have to stop acting like they're going to announce something big and stand mute until they're ready to present it.

I think the fuss is more about the 'big things coming in April!' comment followed by no big things in April.

Nobody wants to see the DLC rushed, they just want to know it's coming. Besides, Bethesda aren't stupid enough to ship out poorly developed DLC because a few vocal users on their forums are being impatient.

Skyrim isn't bad quality in all areas. I agree with you though but this does happen with film and games.

They need to keep a ruse of being active. If they just stay silent, people (who are used to Bethesda) will become impatient and use their money for something else

I for one would rather have them staying low and come with a BIG surprise when the surprise is just one week short of launch. In this regard, I have to applaud Apple. They announce products only when they're ready for production, so when the products are out, the ads are still fresh in people's minds

Yeah I agree Beth should take their time (I don't agree that 11.11.11 release damaged Skyrim that much, though).

Still, it would be sweet to finally know something about the upcoming dlc. Like, in general, what's it gonna be about, or a screen or two, anything, really.
