Renaming order

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:35 pm

I know that this is stupid guestion and I'll kick my own ass after somebody answers me, but I HAVE to ask this...

I know that when enchanting an item I can rename it. I have tried that many times, got written 'new' name etc, but item doesn't keep the new name. I'm assuming that I don't do renaming in correct order (I have tried every one I can imagine (except the correct one...)) or I'm missing to do something to 'save' the name, but I have failed every time.

So, please tell me exact order (and possible key to use) to save name!

Adv. thanks

On PS3 you have to hit the START button after you enter the name. Sorry if you are on another platform I can't help you.

Oh, I think you choose that after adding everything, there should be a button for it, and it should tell you which button that is on the bottom of the screen.

At least both PC and PS3 get to name their enchanted items, 360 doesn't seem to have that option which makes the Fav. list a pain if you have two of the same thing in it.

On XBOX you can rename your enchanted items - I believe Y brings up the typad to rename, then do so & press start.

On 360 push X to open the renaming screen then type the name in and push start....it even says X to rename along the bottom of the screen in the enchanting menu...

On the PC, the new name will only be saved if I hit the Enter key after changing the name. Then I hit the craft item/enchant item option. :tes:

I was stupid and forgot to tell that I'm using PC.

Kicenna, thanks. Enter was one I haven't tried.
