the most Perfect Assassin in the whole Skyrim province?!

You're never going to find the 'perfect' build, simply because different people have different ideas as to what 'perfect' is. My 'perfect' build would probably be considered a bit overpowered - I'd prefer a quick, clean kill, where the challenge lies in positioning yourself and aiming perfectly. It sounds like you think the challenge should be in the damage you do, and your sneak skill. That, to me, is an imperfect build, but to you is 'perfect'.

So I'd say a very nearly maxed sneak skill - all of the 'sneak is % more effective' perks ought to be taken. You'd have a high archery skill, and a good quality bow - not Daedric or anything, but close. You'd find your challenge in finding a good spot at a long distance from your target. You have one shot - shoot once, watch your target fall and get the heck out of there!

This more-or-less describes Niamh, actually.

Here's a few screenshots of my DB vampire assassin named Raven. (Imperial). He wears the Jester's outfit, but here he is practicing his martial prowess in a sewer where noone can bother him.

"I don't need no stinkin' armor." - Raven

This has all been very informative. I'm planning an assassin so this has been fun. I also like the civil tone in this thread. Thanks.

If you think about it part of being an assassin is blending in like ninjas did in feudal Japan so going clothes maybe with enchantments might be the best fro a RP aspect. Also daggers only for concealment and no magic because of the attention it brings in Skyrim due to their hate/fear of it.

Destruction and archery can work brilliantly together, weak to magic/elements poisons sneak bow attack followed by a barrage of destruction spells.

My idea of an assassin is one that utilises any method to kill a target, if it's more efficient to kill from range then he does that, he's not going to put himself in unnecessary danger because of some rule he's set himself "alway kill close up".

Imo, a good assassin is practical. I think it's more practical to slit a guy's throat than to spend half your time running around Skyrim gathering ingredients so you can pull off the strategy you just proposed. Albeit it sounds cool.

Most assassin builds don't need armor. I agree on that part. What's wrong with using magic? There are two DB members who utilize it, it's not like its against lore or anything. Doesn't it make more sense for a necromancer to work discreetly than just charging into batlle hoping to find a corpse? Same thing with a vampire.

I said from a RP view using magic can bring unwanted attention if used because of the people of skyrims hate/fear of it they notice some one adept in it is all I was saying.
