Forsworn war

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 6:23 am

I was walking along the road of skyrim during the evening/night hours when I came across a peddler and bought her wares to help her; sadly that was her last sale as a group of forsworn came up and due to my best efforts to save her they killed her.

After making her a grave for her I swore over the magelight at her head that I will kill any forsworn I've seen. am I right or am I overreacting.

Kick their ass. They're all cool until the innocent get hurt.

I, too, kill them all. I've seen them attack a number of NPCs without reason.

Also, they're usually around the witches/hargraven (sp??) which I despise.

I do the same to Thalmor when they're walking around with a prisoner. It's easy trapping them into a discussion about religion which leads to them attacking me, so no bounty. Then I let the prisoner go.

Not at all, it is roleplaying

My female nord was 6 years old when her parents (strong believers of Talos) got murdered by the Thalmor, her father gave her the chance to escape. She became homeless but found a peacefull old werewolf who raised her for 14 years in the cold and dangerous wilds.
A fine reason to have a deep hatred for the Thalmor, no? :D

Yeah, anything like that is a good thing. It adds character and now a priority may be to focus on the reach instead of something else. Vengeance is a great feeling to add to your character. It deepens his (if fake) existense.

Anyone know where I can find any re-accuring or Forsworn camps that I most likely overlooked? I've covered a good 60 to 80% of the map ^^ and thanks for the postive responses..I've already hated them..but this brings a whole new level of genocide that I want to bring down on them.

O_O I just saw a forsworn revive that lady!! I didnt know they could do that..how could they do that to someone so innoucent!

If you covered most of the map then there is not much you can do but search inbetween all those locations in the reach. Im sure if you wander the reach youll find at least a few forsworn around.

If you don't kill those Forsworn, then they're likely to have many more victims, anyway.

I have seem them respawn in a few areas, if you're looking for more to stab. It usually takes a while for respawns to happen.

Was that Forsworn with the revive ability a necromancer, by chance? Are there Forsworn necromancers?

Ive seen forsworn throw down some major comjuration so it wouldnt suprise me. I mean they are sometimes refered to as the witchmen of the reach.

Like any terrorist the Forsworn do it for a reaction. Sure they would love to storm Marketh and sack the castle ... but they can't. So they capture some mines, kill some innocents as a way of saying "Hey don't forget about me. I am still here and I am still not happy". Modern day terrorist do it for the same reason.

I suppose that if ferrykeizer who posted above was instead raised by a kindly Forsworn rather than a kindly werewolf she would have a different outlook on the Forsworn and their tactics. The idea to them may be that they will kill an innocent merchant to get the attention of those they hate and consider the merchant just a victim of the war. They may even justify it by knowing that the merchant would have been aware that this area was occupied by the Forsworn and to travel there was taking a risk with your life anyway.

By the way OP that is a cool role-play.

What is good in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

If you can stomach it, kill a briarheart and watch with satisfaction as you rip the fruits of his deal with the devils from his chest, leaving a gaping hole and his mutilated body for the bears to feast upon.

(I consider them vermine because they remind me of skeevers the way they whip around to slash me.)

Indeed...I can see them killing a merch for her wares but to revive her to bring her against me is just unforgivable and will result in me going WWII on them...Akatosh forgive them..to deal with the hagravens is a crime I cnanot forgive. :stare:
