Have I spoiled my game?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 7:50 pm

Hi
First time in this forum....looks nice! :)
ok, so I am level 32 in skyrim, however, I have completed the Dragonslayer quest (killing Alduin), seems to me like I have leapfrogged the main plot.....was this supposed to be nearer the end of the game, or am I mistaken????

thanx

You haven't spoiled the game in that regard, no. It doesn't put any limits on the other features of the game and there is no "supposed" way to play this game. Hope that answers your question :)

Hello! Welcome to the forums! :)
The beauty of The Elder Scrolls series is that you can do whatever you want, when you want. The game doesn't have an end - you've completed the Main Questline, but there's still plenty more you can do!

Welcome to the forums!

And let me lay some shocking news on you - there is no end to this game. You can do anything in any order. BUT, from what I hear, you are now going to be swatting at Dragons like mosquitos now for the rest of your game life. Which is why I haven't done the main quest yet.

Their is no wrong way to play the game. I've finished the MQ twice and started it to a point 4 times, 2 of my characters are dragonless.

Some ppl like doing everything with one character, I like picking out 1 or 2 questlines for each character something that suites the RP idea I had for them. It's your game play it your way.

As the others have said you have completed the main quest but you still have lots you can do. There are four main guilds you can playthrough which are all pretty good in their own ways. You also have the hundreds of other side quests you can complete. I myself don't really do quests that much anymore, I simply explore the world and see what is out there.

Also if you ever get bored with one character start a new one and play a different way, maybe role play if you don't already do it.

Welcome

I too had also thought, on my first playthrough, that I had somehow skipped part of the MQ, but it seems not. It was just poor, jaunty writing. The MQ was good as a whole though.

Welcome to the forums! Like everyone has said, you can now just do whatever you want in the game.
